My son moved in with me yesterday! Starts school next year down here. I have to say that I am really excited and nervous about everything.

As I sit here looking at my computer screen, and working on this site a bit more. I got a text from my ex. My son wishes me a Happy Fathers Day. This really hit me as it's the first time that I have been wished this. You see, my ex took off with our son when he was a year old, and I never heard from them at all until a year ago. After a seven year absence, my son knows me and has spent time with me now.
